Queer Writers' Circle

The Queer Writers' Circle is my pride and joy.We are a group of queer writers who meet monthly to discuss all things writing and the creative process. Meetings are quite flexible in format, but usually will involve an introduction/catch up followed by a look at things that have been written since the last meeting with structured feedback provided.I was first offered to run this group by Zoë McSparron at the Waterside Theatre and Art Centre for their Spread the Word festival. From there, the group grew and still continues to grow in its new home, Void Art Centre. We were even fortunate enough to be given a slot in the Derry Pride Week in our first year running.Recently, we were provided with Derry City and Strabane District Council Artist and Cultural Practitioner Funding to facilitate more sessions! We are always happy to discuss collaboration with similar minded groups or individuals. To contact us about this (or anything) please feel free to DM us at the Instagram below.
